TRONITY and Škoda Launch Cooperation

TRONITY is now available for all Škoda electric models, including the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé. TRONITY provides users comprehensive insights into vehicle data—without any additional hardware. This includes battery status, range based on driving style, and monitoring charging costs. Special highlights include a digital, tax-compliant logbook and billing options for charging the electric vehicle at home. This functionality simplifies the accurate billing of home charging costs for company vehicles with employers.
Torsten Born, CEO and Co-Founder:
"The collaboration with Škoda is a significant step for us, as Škoda EV models are increasingly popular not only among private users but also as company cars within fleet operations. Our home charging billing and digital logbook functionalities now significantly simplify life for Škoda drivers and fleet managers."
Škoda is popular as a company vehicle, and models from the Czech brand are therefore commonly found in many vehicle fleets. TRONITY offers TRONITY Fleet, an intelligent web application designed specifically for fleet management needs. The solution simplifies increasingly complex fleet management tasks and makes the potentials and cost-saving opportunities associated with fleet electrification transparent to companies. Fleet managers can monitor all important data, such as battery charge status or total operating costs, from a centralized dashboard. A major advantage: both TRONITY Fleet and the TRONITY App function across brands without the need for additional hardware.
TRONITY was founded in 2020 by former SAP employees Torsten Born, Sebastian Netuschil and Nils Machner in Mannheim, Germany. The startup's application gives drivers of electric cars access to various vehicle data without the need for additional hardware, and supports cost management and a digital logbook. The company cooperates with numerous car manufacturers such as Ford, Mercedes, Opel, Peugeot, Porsche and VW and is completely independent. The TRONITY App is already in use in more than 45 countries. With 25 million stored trips and 1,19 GWh of managed battery capacity, the TRONITY community already represents the world's largest virtually managed fleet of electric vehicles.
